WHAM! Stand Interview

Founder and Creator of some of the best emblems and stands around.

Matt From Wham Stand

Tell us a bit about yourself?

Matt from WHAM! Stand. We 3D print custom displays for collectibles and companies.

Supporting and celebrating artists with innovation and integrity. Your creations deserve to stand

out.

How did you get started on your journey?

I have been 3D printing for over a decade, during the times of having to really build the 3D

printer from scratch. I played the mobile game Marvel Contest of Champions and loved bringing

artifacts from the game to life. Down the road, a made from MCOC asked if I could make them a

comic stand so they could sell comics online. While working with a local comic book store I

realized there was room for my creations in the comic community so I dove in head first. Today

we service a wide range of communities including art prints, vinyl record collectors, trading card

collectors, and many more.

What have been some of the obstacles you’ve encountered on your journey?

As soon as we hit the scene some of the folks that had already been doing it and had a bit of

traction in the community already began borrowing our ideas and really has never stopped.

People still gravitate toward me and the company still grows, so there is nothing I can do but

keep doing it regardless of what everyone else is doing.

What have been some of your most memorable moments of this journey, if any?

I have done a few live conventions and they are always very memorable events. Whether is be meeting new friends or learning a lot about the product I create, live events are just a blast!

Do you have any advice for people who want to maybe get into a business/hobby/career like yours?

3D printing is super fun and can also be super frustrating. Patience and an open mind are

definitely required for the hobby. Never stop bringing your ideas to life.

Where can we follow you?
